BEST TIME TO
TRAVEL TO
VERMONT

Precipitation is moderate all over the year, and the weather is severe and snow very intense in winter and early spring or late autumn. Most of Vermont is under snow all over this period.

Cold spells affect Vermont since the end of October till late Spring, specially in Northern regions, with very severe snowfalls.

Most visits to Vermont are centred in winter (to Killington, Stowe and other few winter resorts), exactly due to snow. But if you aren't a lover of winter sports, then late spring, summer and early autumn is the best period to visit Vermont.

WHEN NOT TO GO TO VERMONT

You should avoid winter - or even November and early-mid spring -, if you aren’t going to enjoy the winter mountain resorts and snow activities.

Many travelers demand Vermont to see fall's foliage in Autumn, and specially in the first half of October. If you want to avoid this wave of tourists avoid this period.
