WHAT TO VISIT IN CONNECTICUT?
Hartford, Connecticut's state capital, has few points of interest for travelers. The most interesting places to visit in Connecticut are its South-eastern coast and New Haven.
Connecticut - south-eastern coast
Connecticut's coastal zone, west Stonington, boasts many historic small whaling villages and ports. Mystic Seaport - a restored nineteenth century village - and the fishing village of Stoning Borough are good examples of this part of Connecticut.
New Haven and the Yale University
The Yale University, in New Haven, is a major travel highlight in Connecticut. It includes several guided tours to local museums, libraries, galleries and art centers.

BEST TIME TO VISIT CONNECTICUT
Weather in Connecticut is generally quite similar to New York's and New England's weather - it's very changeable, with moderate precipitation all over the year, brief heat waves during the summer and very cool weather in the winter and early spring.
Snow is concentrated in the winter months.
Late-spring - May, June – or late-summer and early-fall – September, October are excellent months to visit Connecticut.
Fall's foliage spectacle causes many thousands of weekenders to flock to New England. So avoid weekends in the Autumn if you want to avoid crowds.
WHEN NOT TO GO TO CONNECTICUT
Humidity and high temperatures may render some days in July and August uncomfortable. Also avoid the winter months, when temperatures may attain very low levels.
