Texas has top travel destinations for every season. Southern sea resorts are winter refuges, and also popular Summer beach destinations. 

But Spring and Fall - with their mild temperatures and excellent weather conditions - are the best times in most top travel destinations - Austin, Houston, the Hill Country, etc. 

Water sports, fishing, beach life and outdoor activities are the great attractions in the southern coast. Entertainment, nightlife, festivals and cultural life are the other big set of travel attractions in most city destinations.

BEST TIME TO VISIT TEXAS

Summer is a popular season in the south coast of Texas, or in the lakes and river areas of the Hill Country. But summer is also too hot and too humid in most cities. Houston is particularly hot and humid in Summer.

Winter, though with normally mild temperatures, is also a time of cold snaps you may want to avoid. 

If you want to privilege warm and agreeable weather, Spring and Autumn are the best times to visit Texas. 


WHEN NOT TO GO TO TEXAS

Avoid the Summer if you want to concentrate your vacations or trips in city destinations. Summer is very humid and hot in most Texan cities.

For beach life in the south coast of Texas, avoid winter, early spring and late Fall.
