Best Time to Visit Wyoming
Jackson Hole is the long river basin (constructed by the Snake River) at the foot of the mountains of the Grand Teton National Park. Here you can find some of the best USA skiing resorts. Jackson Hole is, therefore, part of the scenic Grand Teton National Park, south of Yellowstone National Park.
Jacskon city, located near the south end of the park, is the major town in this region and the top tourist gateway to it.

THINGS TO DO AND WHAT TO VISIT IN JACKSON HOLE AND GRAND TETON
In winter the Snow King Resort (family oriented), the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (for intermediate and skilled skiers) and the Grand Targhee, just some miles from Jackson Hole Airport are the top attractions. The National Elk Refuge (close to Jackson City and Jackson Hole Airport) is also a popular winter attraction.
In other seasons (namely in summer and the months close to summer) you will find not only scenic views in places as Jenny Lake Scenic Loop and the Grand Teton Mountain, but also a wide range of opportunities involving cycling (along the flat roads bordering the Snake River), boating (also along the Snake River), water sports (along Leigh Lake sandy beaches), chair lifting, toboggan running, hiking...

BEST TIME TO VISIT JACKSON HOLE AND GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK
If you want to enjoy Jackson Hole ski resorts, the best time to visit it is obviously during the ski season: from later October to early March.
If you intend to visit Grand Teton National Park (and Yellowstone) or to privilege sightseeing, fishing and watersports in Grand Teton National Park and in Jackson Hole, then June through September is the best period.
WHEN NOT TO GO TO GRAND TETON AND JACKSON HOLE
If you aren't interested in skiing, winter isn't definitely a good time. Early spring weather is also too unstable, with harsh conditions in many days.
