CHEYENNE AND THE MEDICINE BOW MOUNTAINS

Best Time to Visit Wyoming

Cheyenne evokes the old west. And though there are intense signs of it (namely in the Frontier Days rodeo, in July, or in its magnificent Frontier Days Old West Museum exhibits), most of the year Cheyenne appears mainly as Wyoming's state capital and with what that represents in business travel or politics.

Cheyenne is also a great hub to south Wyoming tourist destinations, namely to local representations of the Rockies: the Medicine Bow Mountains.
