BEST TIME TO VISIT PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND

Rhode Island Providence weather is changeable, with precipitation all over the year, very brief heat waves in the summer and very cool weather in the winter or even in the early spring. Snow is concentrated in winter months (it snows and rains slightly more in Providence than in New York; the average temperatures are also lower in Providence).

Late-spring, late-summer and early-fall are excellent months for visiting Providence, unless you want to enjoy sea resorts life in the summer.

Since Fall's foliage is particularly popular and many weekenders visit New England in this period, you may want to avoid Autumn's weekends.

WHEN NOT TO GO TO PROVIDENCE

You should avoid the winter months, when temperatures reach very low levels. Take also into account that July and August may be uncomfortable due to humidity and high temperatures.
