BEST TIME TO VISIT & TRAVEL TO PHILADELPHIA
Philadelphia weather is very similar to that of New York. It's changeable, with moderate precipitation all over the year, and some heat waves in summer and cool weather in winter or even in the early spring. Snow is concentrated in winter months (it snows less in Philadelphia than in New York).
Late-spring - May, June – or late-summer and early-fall – September, October are excellent months for visiting Philadelphia.
WHEN NOT TO GO TO PHILADELPHIA
Avoid the winter months, when temperatures may attain very low levels.
Humidity and high temperatures may turn some days of July and August uncomfortable, despite the moderating influence of the Lake Erie in the region.
See the Philadelphia Table Weather below, for details.
