GRAND RAPIDS, HOLLAND, GRAND HAVEN AND MUSKEGON,
MICHIGAN
Best Time to Go & Visit & Travel to
Michigan
Grand Rapids, Holland
and Muskegon are Michigan's West Coast cities. Grand Rapids -
the second largest city in the state - is a city of congresses
and events (music, theater, dance, sports...) with an
interesting nightlife, dining and shopping animation. Due to its
position in the Michigan's West Cost, Grand Rapids is also a
major gateway to west Michigan's Lake region, namely to the
nearby cities of Holland, Grand Haven and Muskegon, with their
beaches, dunes, water parks and amusement.

BEST TIME TO
VISIT GRAND RAPIDS,
MUSKEGON, GRAND HAVEN AND HOLLAND
If you want to privilege animation and sea life and sports then Summer
(and late Spring and early
Fall)
is the right season to visit Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Grand Haven
and Holland.
If you just take into account the weather,
Autumn or late
spring - with their agreeable and warm days and temperatures -
are excellent times to visit the region.
Great Lakes' winters are severe,
with occasional snowstorms and intense rainfalls, and
Grand Rapids-Muskegon-Grand Haven-Holland
winters don't escape to the rule, obviously.
Snowstorms and
ice storms are current in December,
January and February.
WHEN NOT TO GO TO
GRAND RAPIDS,
MUSKEGON, GRAND HAVEN AND HOLLAND
You may want to avoid the winter
months, when temperatures attain very low levels, and occasional
snowstorms strike Michigan.
If you want to bet in low
accommodation rates, then July and August aren't the better
months to visit the region. Besides, humidity and high temperatures may also turn
some days of July and August very uncomfortable. See the
Weather Data Map below, for details.
