WHAT TO VISIT IN ANN ARBOR
downtown and the University of Michigan campus are the travel top references in Ann Arbor. These are particularly animated zones, filled up with shops, cafés, restaurants, hotels and live music.
Ann Arbor has dozens of festivals year round. Ann Arbor Art Fairs (July), Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival (September), Ann Arbor Book Festival (Mars) or the Ann Arbor Summer Festival (June and July) are particularly well ranked and have nationwide reputation.

BEST TIME TO VISIT ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN
If you want to privilege the weather and Ann Arbor animation and live music, then Summer is the season. Summer (and late Spring and early Fall) is indeed the most popular season for visiting Ann Arbor.
If you just take into account the weather, early and mid Autumn or late spring are excellent times to travel to Ann Arbor. Autumn brings with it agreeable and warm temperatures, and very nice days.
Michigan's winters are severe, with occasional snowstorms and intense rainfalls, and Ann Arbor winters don't escape to that, obviously. Snowstorms and ice storms are current in months as December, January and February.

WHEN NOT TO GO TO ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN
You may want to avoid the winter months, when temperatures attain very low levels, and occasional snowstorms strike Michigan.
If you want to bet in low accommodation rates, then July and August aren't the better months to travel to Ann Arbor. Besides, humidity and high temperatures may also turn some days of July and August very uncomfortable. See the Detroit Weather Data Map, for details.
