Best Time Visit Indiana

BEST TIME TO VISIT INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA
Fall is considered by Indianapolis residents as the best time of the the year. Humidity is usually much lower than in the summer months, and weather tends to be sunny and temperatures agreeable.
Summer is, anyway, the most popular season in Indianapolis region. If you want to privilege the city animation, then Summer is the season (in spite of the often very high humidity and high temperatures).
Indianapolis winters are often bitterly cold, though not necessarily: there are some relatively mild winters, when tropical air coming from South reaches the region (similarly, some few summers can be relatively cool due to the influence of polar air, or unusually warm due to the air of Gulf of Mexico origin).
Spring is a transitional season, with very changeable weather: the transition from cold to hot weather patterns produces often thunderstorms and tornadoes (late May a very popular period due to the Indianapolis 500).
WHEN NOT TO GO TO INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA
You may want to avoid the winter months, when temperatures can attain very low levels, and occasional snowstorms strike Indiana.
If you want to bet in low accommodation rates, then mid and late May isn't a good period (due to the Indianapolis 500 and to car races fans crowds). Also July and August aren't the better months (humidity and high temperatures may also turn some days of July and August very uncomfortable). Accommodation rates can double in the car races periods.
